Hasn't voted | Lee, Great page. The road to Geitsætre is usually open in winter up to 1-2 km south of Geitsætri. This peak IS ideal for skiing (although its debateable whether BC or Randoneé/Telemark skis are most suitable). The last few hundred meters will probably be snow free, but basically its at least 1000 meters downhill skiing to Spiterstulen or Geitsætre. The skiing season lasts until end of April. Hasn't voted | Cheers, made those changes. Knees almost better now so will hopefully start climbing soon rather than writing about climbing! | |
