I see you note the issue with poison ivy. For any Shenandoah pages I have created that require some bushwhacking, I note that since Shenandoah peaks can be hiked all year round, that winter is the best time to bushwhack, even for rock climbing. Poison Ivy is a real problem in Shenandoah, and makes bushwhacking very risky from March through early December.

My legs are living, itching testament to this right now. Such is the price of getting to some of the off-trail scrambles.

Mentioning winter as the best time to bushwhack is a good idea, and I'll add that in soon, as well as add it to other SNP pages of mine where it's relevant.
