Voted 10/10 | I like all your Retezat pages, you've done some really good job for SP recently :) Would be good to relate the Romanian climbing grades to UIAA and other systems, e.g. to this page. Is for instance 4A and 4B about the same as IV UIAA? cheers, kamil | |

Hasn't voted | Czesc Kamil! Thanks for the comment. I have plans to add about 3 more peaks from Retezat. About the Romanian climbing grades, you're absolutely right. Right now I do not know how they relate to UIAA or others, but will try to investigate into this subject. Thanks for bringing this up! UPDATE: Chapter 8 of this page seems to reveal something on this issue. I don't speak Romanian, but will try to decipher. As far as I understand now, their system is from 1A to 6B. | |
