Hasn't voted | Thanks for the compliment, I always put a lot of effort into my pages and it's nice to hear that others appreciate it. I think the route I describe is the best route up Lone Peak, and fortunately it one of the least commonly used to. | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Vanman. Years ago you could drive all the way to the First Hamengog. Then Patterson Development put their gates across the dirt road after a couple switchbacks and you had to park half way up. Later still, Orem city won a legal battle over rights to the spring and put up the gate that keeps your car on pavement today. I used to bemoan these closures, but now I think they were blessings. You SHOULD have to work for Lone Peak. | |
