CheesySciFiYou beat me to it!

Voted 10/10

I was thinking of putting together a page for Trayfoot, but you spared me the work. Good job with what you've done on this mountain, especially considering that there are no summit views.

Another route to the summit is the Furnace Mountain Trail. The round trip is about 7.5 miles with an elevation gain of about 2000 feet. The one-way trip is 3.6 miles on the Furnace Mountain Trail, 0.2 miles on the Trayfoot Mountain Trail, and between 0.1 and 0.2 miles on a fire road. Add another mile and 250 feet of elevation gain if you make a side trip to the summit of Furnace Mountain.

Sorry-- that happened to me once, too!

When I did Trayfoot the other day, I was originally planning to do Furnace as well but was feeling a little lazy (I'd done Big Devil's Stairs that morning). I'm planning to go back around Thanksgiving to do it, though. But would you like to do a page for Furnace? I've certainly done more than my fair share of pages and lay no claims on any "undone" SNP peaks.

I'll add the route info you mentioned; I should have included it in the first place.

Anyway, let me know about Furnace so I don't do the work for nothing or beat you to it again. Also, let me know if you're interested in hiking it, Austin, or both together from the west side. If I do go, it will probably be the day after Thanksgiving, though I'll play it by ear based on the weather forecast.
