Glad to see some effort put into this part of Oregon. I hope to make it back there before too long. The lack of trees certainly makes it a great place to contemplate geology.

I somehow missed this back when you put it up. You obviously put a lot of effort into the page. This should be a featured page.

Thanks for the compliment Bob;
It wasn't much when I started it last year, but I've been adding information and pictures ever since.

great range and area! I went and explored to find the kruger mountain wild mustangs and found them!! I stayed back quite a distance but they still smelled me and took off! I gotta get back down there for more exploring. Great page!

Thanks; I always enjoyed your trip reports set in the blue mountains. I think I have seen more mustangs around Beatys Butte than anywhere, they are elusive for sure!

I am nearing completion of an area page on the Warners. Do you care if I attach it to this page, even though most of the range is in CA?

The Alvord Desert just blows me away every time I see it.

Seems like a person could become "lost" in this area. I especially
like the obsidian beds scattered throughout the vast landscape!!!

I've had no trouble getting lost out here a couple times, just try driving across the catlow valley without the benefit of directions haha. Thanks for the compliment larry.
