area that you've done a nice job spotlighting. I found Joes Valley when I was looking for a county highpoint (along with a guy from Oregon) called East Mountain, which is the mountain located over the Crandall mine which hit the papers bigtime not long ago when miners were trapped and killed there. Welcome to Utah from another Northwest transplant (I just moved down from Washington)

Thanks for the compliment on the page. I DO hope to make it better, and DO love this little gem of Utah. The photos are from my 8 years living in Utah prior to my 1.5 yr stint in Bend. Glad to know there's some other folks out there exploring the folds and secret stashes of Utah. Thanks, too, for your East Mountain reference. I was unfamiliar with it. Take care, and perhaps I'll see you around.
