Voted 10/10 | Great work here and nice photos. I am glad to see this peak because I wanted to climb it when I lived in Tucson but never had info or the time. Maybe I'll make it back someday! | |

Voted 10/10 | most about the area are the "Shindaggers." One time I did step on one directly, and ended up with a spine coming up through my boot. It's all worth it when you come across the Desert Bighorn sheep that the state of Arizona transplanted to the area. When I see them, it always makes paying state taxes a little less painful. Hasn't voted | My first hike in the area was up Pusch Peak with my mom in 1985. We went up the south side through lots of shindaggers and got a bit battered. On the way down we came right next to a herd of about 14 bighorns. It was a magical experience. This was before they vanished from the area, though so they must have all died in the coming years or migrated to a different range. | |
