Voted 10/10 | One important note that should be added is that the south rock face on Sheep Mountain is closed seasonally for raptor nesting. The best source online for when this area will be closed is at http://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/area_closures.htm The park updates this relatively well, but I would suggest you also contact the Backcountry Office at 970-586-1242 to make sure you have the very latest info. I mention this because I got burned once by hiking to a spot, only to find that it had recently been closed, but wasn't updated on the park website. | |
