| Bob Sihler | Nice first page | |
Voted 10/10 | I'd suggest adding some more pictures into the body if you can, but the page is well-written and has a ton of information. I like the account of your personal history with the mountain-- good story.

Hasn't voted | Bob, many thanks for the comments I certainly plan to add more pics, and a few better ones too, these were the only ones already in digital form. I have also since found how to place the pics into the text rather than breaking the text into sections, so have already modified the layout. I must say my page pales into insignificance with yours, fantastic effort and fabulous record. We don't have the same scale of "rocks" in the UK.

Voted 10/10 | Hey, it's not the scale of the rocks, at least not for me. It's the scenery, the solitude, the connection with the primal world, and so on. Our mountains here are not of the stature of those in Tibet, but I still love them. And Scotland is a place I'd dearly love to see-- those bare peaks and cold lakes just sing to me.

Voted 10/10 | Don't know how I missed this one; it's a great page especially for a first effort. Apart from a few exceptions, until recently the submissions for the UK have been somewhat lacking, so I hope to see more stuff from you in the future! Cheers Dan

Hasn't voted | Dan, many thanks for the comments! I have to confess of taking inspiration and guidance by looking at your pages tho! hugely impressive and the time you must have spent, and as you've probably noticed I've signed a good many of them. I have to agree there is a distinct lack of UK mountains including some notable big ones. Myself and my climbing bud mountainmanjohn (SP)are on the case, albeit a little slowly. My mistake/regret is after nearly 20 years of UK mountains I hardly ever took a camera, so have very few pics. Scotland is hardly covered at all with nearly 500 Munros and Corbets, theres some work to do! Still . . . got a holiday in the Lakes with John coming up soon so hope to redress that situation. Maybe see you out and about some time. Mark

Voted 10/10 | Good to see another addition to the mountain pages for Scotland. Must say you have put a wealth of information into this and I found this an interesting read. Have not had the pleasure of visiting this region yet, but hope to do so in the near future. Thanks for posting. Stephen

Hasn't voted | Stephen, many thanks for the comment. I love Scotland, spent over a year in the Highlands which is pure escapism from the London commute! I heartily recommend paying a visit to the region, there are a number of Munros and Corbetts that can be done, Ben Loyal, Ben Hope, Ben Hee etc etc. I plan to add a few more pages in time, as you have noted there are very few Scottish mountains, you are probably one of the main contributors together with Nanals (SP), and as you've no doubt noticed I have signed the ones I've done. Voted 10/10 | Thanks for that! Great area, which I miss! My German partner fell in love with Scotland when we visited a few years ago. Cheers Charles

Voted 10/10 | Its great to see a far northern Munro on the Summitpost. We need more of these isolated summits on this web-site. Good work...!

Hasn't voted | Cheers, I have to confess of being inspired by yourself and Dan (Nanals) I plan to put some more northerly ones on when I have the time and can find the photos.

Voted 10/10 | One thing I say is we need more of the Torridon's on there. They are such a special area just for there shape and Geology. Suilven is one of my favourites.
