surgentPA has some neat places

I made a blitz of some peaks and highpoints in PA back in '01 and had a lot of fun. Yes they're low, but they have charm and some aren't so easy either, as I learned. Nice to see PA gets some notice.

Thanks surgent! Yes, PA has some great places. Growing up in Northern PA I got to experience that beauty. I hope, through some of these pages, to get more interest into the mountains of PA. I am glad you were able to see PA. You should come back again.

That's one of the peaks I want to hike when I finally get around to doing some camping and backpacking in PA.

That would be great. There are so many beautiful places in northern PA, so let me know if you need any recommendations. And the PA Grand Canyon, of which Gillespie is a part, is a superb area. Take some time to explore the area, if you have the time. I have also been meaning to get some other mountains of the area posted, but it takes time to do them. I may have to start getting back to them.
