can recognize this setting from Planet of the Apes. I remember
watching it when I was a kid. It's nice to have the history of
an area, because it makes it more memorable and interesting.

Lots of rattlesnakes in the park? The only CAL park that I've visited is Mount Palomar State Park. And I recall that on both trips in it was packed with rattlesnakes!

Thanks for your comment. I don't know whether there are many rattlers in the park but I've seen several over the past few years there. I would guess that there are many though. Cheers.
