Hasn't voted | You started ok with this page, but it has gone no where. Do you have more pictures? At the least, you need 6-7 more shots of the mountain. Also, is it fair to say it is a minor peak, given it is one of the tallest in the park? Obviously not as large as Lassen, but still significant. If you are not interested in maintaining the page, I would be willing to work on it. Good luck! | |

Hasn't voted | Wow. So sorry to offend you. I just wanted to post SOMETHING on this little peak. I didn't realize that so much was required in order to avoid being flamed on SP. I did not post all of my photos because they did not turn out very well at all and I make it a point to only post images that I think are of passable quality or contribute in an educational way. I have more. Shall I post them for you? As far as my classification as a minor peak, I think that is accurate, indeed. It's something like a 400 foot class 2 from either the east or west. Broke Off, Diller, Chaos Crags and others are way more challenging, so, yes, it is a minor peak despite it's elevation. As far as my interest in this peak, let me tell you something. I have been looking at this peak, skiing this peak, hiking this peak and researching this peak for a few years now and nobody but I have ever bothered to make a page for it, so, it's plain as day that I am the only person interested in this peak. So, there. I don't know what else you want, really. I mean I gave a good description, outlining four aspects of the peak, class ratings, the best photo I had....then I added a route including a topo. So, yes, for now that is all. Can you deal with it, sweetheart? | |

Hasn't voted | I am sorry you took my exhortation so personally. As far as flaming goes, I think you flamed yourself here. Face it, the page you made is mediocre at best. The complete lack of votes testifies to a unanimous agreement on this point amongst the SP community. Like it or not, votes matter in terms of quality control. Furthermore, and this is nit-picking, your failure to remove the external links standard text would indicate you had not completed the page. As far as whether the peak is minor or not, I am willing to concede the difficulty aspect. However, I think its elevation still makes an important peak. Regarding whether or not your are the only person interested in this peak, I think that is a myopic interpretation. I am certainly glad you are interested in the Lassen area and decided to submit a contribution, but you are definitely NOT alone in being interested in this area. Obviously I took an interest in the peak's page, since I commented on it. Moreover, a quick perusal of my submissions ought to alert you to the fact that I have taken a keen interest in the area. You even managed to attach some of your pictures to my pages. Too bad you could not get any other "passable" shots. More should still be added. Perhaps one ought to abstain from making a page until you have adequate materials. Sadly, you COMPLETELY misinterpreted the intent of my comment. I had hoped improvements would be made, thus making the peak a worthy contribution to the Lassen area pages. Instead, you displayed stunningly stunted social skills. You came out of nowhere with comments that are hard to be perceive as constructive and you can't see how it may be offensive? Perhaps you are the one with the stunted social skills.
