Voted 10/10 | Print the page and go climb the mountain. Exactly the criteria every SP mountain page should aspire to. VERY nice job. One bit of info I'd like to see added would be the elevation you drive to. Would help many assess what effort summit day would require and have some bearing on acclimatisation too. Cheers, Martin | |

Hasn't voted | Hi Myzantrope, Thanks, but I think your picture is captioned wrong, it looks like Hualca Hualca to me. I doubt that you can see Sabancaya from Cabana Conde, because it is behind and lower than Hualca Hualca. Please look at this photo http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.php?object_id=426289 on the Sabancaya page, it is taken from the summit of Sabancaya looking at Hualca Hualca. It has the same sharp point and ridge line as your photo, just from the other side. Sabancaya is very smooth and rounded on top. Vic | |
