Bubba SuessIs this all?

I hope you intend to flesh out this page and the others you recently added. A couple of lines of text is not up to the standards SP is looking for in contributions. Some ideas:

Describe the area where the peak is found. Describe the mountain itself. Are there any interesting features? What do the summit views include? What about interesting history in the area or climbing history. You might also insert images into the text to function as illustrations. Also, it is generally a good thing to add one page at a time and really flesh it out before moving on to new material.

Understand no one has voted on your contributions yet because, by and large, they are waiting to see if more is added.

I hope you take this constructively and the pages improve.

caputakawell...

Hasn't voted

Its a work in progress.

In my defense, It is supposed to be a supplement to a guidebook, I think the route descriptions are pretty accurate - it would definitely help me as a climber. Plus, I don't want to plagiarize history and mountain info, that's what guidebooks are for.

I don't think people generally approach SP pages as guide book supplements. Moreover, you did not mention that in the page. Not plagiarizing is good but you can site sources. I am willing to change my vote if improved. Good luck!

skywalker78I'd just like to say...

That I for one do use SP as a supplement to the guidebooks, and I doubt many people would rely solely on SP without looking at the guidebooks. Thanks for the page caputaka, I'd certainly rather have the beta you've given than nothing at all!
