Hasn't voted | Wow, your detailed dispatches provide a vivid picture of what it takes to take on such an endeavor in addition to physical conditioning and careful preparations, namely a lot of patience. They are an intriguing account of a bleak situation and definitely worthy of a write-up in Alpinist or the AAC journal if you haven't already submitted. p.s. It would be nice to see your annotated route photo on SP: http://www.nickrice.us/index_files/k2dispatch37.htm Also, I'm getting a 404 error when I try and click on the dispatch thumbnails. | |

Hasn't voted | the dispatch thumbnails are bad links right now until I upload the watermarked photo files that they link to... which takes quite a bit of time. But I should have a full size K2 photo album in my Photography section sometime next week, so keep an eye out there. And I will upload the annotated photo with the route marked later today.
