NanulsSorry don't like it

Voted 10/10

This seems pretty lazy, and doesn't look very good either. Why don't you just copy and paste what you've done on Mbpost to SP? To be honest though, you would have to do a lot of extra work on it since it's very short for an area/range page and only really has detailed information for mountain bike trails - not really what SP's for.

Don't meen to be nasty or anything, just thought you might like to know why I voted you down.

Sorry

MBPost is completely dying and I thought it was a way to make a little regain of interest.
Thanks for your vote.. :(

Hi guys, great job on getting this page up to standard, looks amazing and reads really well. One of the best on SP I reckon. Obviously, I have changed my vote :)

Nice to hear this from one of SP's most critical (but not less friendly) members ! ;)

Is this still under construction? The page looks pretty good and I will vote if it's done ...

Yes, it is, and Yatsek is actively participating, thanks to him we have the geology and some of the history !
The way is still long but yes, seems that the result will be worth the effort.
How did you find this page ? By searching on SP the region where so many MB trails come from ? :)

Heh. You know, I don't actually know how I found it. I wasn't specifically searching for anything; just stumbled across it.

When we'll complete it, I'll take some of the elements of the SP one to make a MB one. This one actually aims to summarize all, hiking trails plus BM trails plus all kind of overviews

Just a little comment about taxonomy. Nothing really important in fact.
Laba (Elbe) flows S to N, and the various rock formations which appeared through erosion would be listed in the same way (S to N). In this way the Eldsandstein Gebirge is a continuation of the sandstone formations to its N (Czeh rep.), and not the opposite.
We people now probably discovered all of this from N to S, but SP is taxonomized from the summits downwards. This probably opens a question (or not).
The way things stand right now, the Elbsandstein area is a continuation of the Laba formations.

true, I'm sure Yatsek will also be glad to discuss it with you.
I think this problem is also politic, but Yatsek doesn't completely agree...
One SP problem is that if the swiss is the continuation of the something else, this something else is not present yet on SP, so the question is closed: let's attach it to the Sudetes ! :)

I'd rather you two discussed it in French. :) I generally support the more logical order. Still, I don't mind either of the views here as long as the page's focused on the Sudetes rather than the Elbe valley.

Who wouldn't like to go to the Sudetes now, after looking at the beautiful and various photos selected for this page, supported with so much useful information? Congratulation for the clever and thoroughful work!
