You know, we met DeAngelo when rappeling solar slab. He freed what would have been our stuck rope, and was happily babbling about what he was soon to publish. I had no idea who he was at the time, otherwise I could have milked him for all kinds of good information and lauded him for keeping the redrocks mojo going for all trad climbers. But of course I was too stupid and out of touch, what a numbnut.
Of course, meeting Peter Croft was a differnt story...

think we had a similar Alan Watts story at smith maybe 5 years ago--just did not recognize him w/o the tights i guess :)
