what a nice write up already:) can't wait for your pics! I used to live near Catherine Creek State Park, outside Union. The Wallowa's were my backyard for 8 months. Too bad I was only 9.

Thanks. Yes, too bad you were so young. I have no such excuse. My inlaws live between the Wallowas and Elkhorns and I've going down there for years and years, but it has only been fairly recently that I've started greally getting into the mountains. Shame on me.

did you climb last year? Just when I think you've hit them all here comes another one! You've been putting up pages for peaks in the wallowas as long as I've been visiting this site. Nice page mrh.

Climbed five. It was a real whirlwind 39 hours and I was hurting before it was over, but it was worth it.

When I saw the pic in the overview section, I thought it was the peak above the LG/BL basin. Nice page. I may have some pics of this peak as well. If so, mind if attach? Also, is your pic in the "overview" from the basin above Cached lake?. Looks like it's from about 1/2 way up to the pass above.

Thanks. By all means add any pics you have. I've been meaning to ask you about submitting your fish picture to the Fish from the Mountains album. I was surprised to see such nice fish come out of that stream. The overview pic is from the trail about a mile east of Cached Lake.

Thanks for ask'n. I just added some. I also included a couple pics of small Bull Trout caught in Eagle Creek along Eagle Meadow. Small fish, but very pretty in a pretty setting. Can't wait to get back there this summer/fall. This time though, I think I may do Das Needle, 8676, and I'll probably head up to Cached again to get some pics of the upper basin.
