I used to live in Durango as a kid and I remember being fascinated with the mountains in the La Plata Range; maybe someday I'll make it back there!

Oh, you must; the peaks there are beautiful. When I move to Nevada next year, we can start making plans for a trip to the La Platas!

Thanks-- There's not any public transportation available here or in most mountain areas in the U.S. except in some national parks. To get here, you have to drive in.
