The sign "No Trespassing" is gone, and a well established trail leads to the base of the main ice fall. Parties go up there very often, although the official accessibility is still unclear.
We chose to climb up the lower Senator ice to the bend in the road (rather that walk 2-3 min up the road) and then took the trail to the main Senator Gulch.
We climbed with 2 60 meter ropes and rappelled down on one 60 meter. So, one 60 meter rope is sufficient.
