You're definitely in a league of your own.

I'm attaching this one to my 'Mountains of
Smiles' album. And I get a kick out of rum.

Steve,

Thanks for the note. It's just one of those poses that's hard to resist striking at a summit.

Argh, matey!

Thank you - I think my smile says it all, about how much fun I'm having in the high country.

Sarah,

Great pic. Looks like it could be in an outdoor gear ad or maybe CO Tourism board pix!!

Now where were the gorgeous women when I was backpacking and peak climbing when I was a "little" bit younger??

Wiley,

You're still a kid at 48! Heck, if 40's the new 20, then that makes you 28: Stop the "old man" crap. ;)

Can't resist striking the Capt. Morgan on summits. Just a tradition for me, I guess.

I thought Captain Morgan pose is more like staggering onto 4 feet around : ) (talking about Captain Morgan rum)_

Hahahaha, Andrey, the "staggering" came later in the day, after the climb. ;-)

Cheers!

Every good pirate lover has to love Captain Morgan, even if his pose is a bit cliche. Summit photos likewise can come across as cliche, but not this one. You just light up the top of this mountain with the joy you mentioned having that day.

Thanks, Larry, I'm never happier than when I'm in the mountains. It's where I'm meant to be.
