105 degrees in Zion Canyon, went through a lot of water. Awesome lightning storm to the east.

Nice Hike
Did this one on day two of my friend's trip to Zion (following Angel's Landing and followed up by a one-day thru-hike of the Zion Narrows). This was actually a nicer hike than Angel's Landing, but that may be because I had never done it before.

Tried it in a whiteout and stopped just below it leveled out, was very sureal knowing there were huge drop offs but having no visual. When the weather cleared the next day went back and did it
I've approached Observation Point from both the bottom and the top. Better than Observation Point, though, is nearby Observation BM. Truly classic views of both north and south Zion Canyon.

Favorite View
This is my favorite view of the Zion valley. And even in snow conditions the trail is great and totally worth the effort.
