October in the Rockies is not...
October in the Rockies is not too appealing to look at. Combined with a cold and drab late fall day, it wasn't too great for pictures. However, this picture illustrates the route quite well. The Jones Pass road is seen descending the west side of the Continental Divide. The blue marks the jeep road and the red marks the climbing route. Looking northeast from the summit of Pettingell Peak, Fall, 2003.
