I climbed Ojstrica 5 times, first time on 21. of june,2oo2.It was my first solo trip, and after some dense fog I changed my plans of crossing from K.saddle to Cojzova hut, and turned around on Mali podi, came back over Brana and went to the other side.The weather was really threatening, I almost ran, and came to Korošica very quickly.The fog misteriously lifted, at least partly, so I climbed Ojstrica.What a triumph.
Next time we went over Šraj pesek on 10.XI 2003, there was quite a lot of snow.It started as a short trip to Kamniske, but the weather was so fine, and Ojstrica so tempting...
Third time we went from Logarska valley, climbed the Kopinšek route to Ojstrica.
Next time I hiked from Korošica over Mala Ojstrica, while my friends were climbing nearby, not to stay lazy.
Last summer we went from K.Bistrica to Klemenca jama, and my friend waited on Škarje, and I used the opportunity to climb once again, dense fog again, except last 50 metres.The sunshine was fine reward.
We went to explore Kamniske Alpe with my girlfriend just after her final exam on the university. We wanted to stay there several days but the weather had other opinion.
After a long hitch-hike from Budapest we arrived to the mountains together with the storm, so we spend the first night in the valley.
Next morning the sky was clear, so we walked up from the valley to Planina Dol and proceeded towards Rzenik and Korosica. By the time we reached the hut, Évi was so exhausted that she decided to stay there (originally we wanted to sleep in tent somewhere further). I dropped my backback, and visited Ojstrica. At the same time the clouds started to gather around me so I missed the marked path in the white-out, and after a short scramble I reached the summit ridge west from the peak. Somehow I managed to reach the summit and found again the path.
We spent the night in the hut of Korosica and next morning, after examining the sky we started to descend to the valley directly. It was the right choice as the rain started again to fall just as we reached the road again. The other parts of Kamniske Alpe remained unexplored for us.

We reached the summit strait from the Kocbekov Dom at Korošica meadow and descended across eastern ridge towards Mala Ojstrica and back to the hut. Great weather and spectacular views!

Ravno polje(1450m),Planina Podvezak-Inkretov studenec-Molicka Pec-Sedelce-Ojstrica, and back down over Korosica hut-Inkretov studenec-Ravno polje.
Nice weather, but too much snow.

October 15th, 1983 - From Kamniska Bistrica over Korosica hut.
September 5th, 1973 - Crossing Kamnik Alps we came from Kamnisko sedlo and continued to Velika planina.
