Old mine opening

This was about 1/2 way along on the switchbacks above the main mine. Inside this one was a railroad track and a tunnel we declined to go very far into. It was nice and cool and would be a refuge on a really hot day.

had mentioned?? It could be designated as
TOP SECRET. That's why it's so dark in there!!

It not only was dark in there, it was nice and cool. Old tracks could be seen heading in but I am not one who likes to go into the confines of the earth.

Mines

Nevada must be full of old mines. There were a bunch @ Boundary Peak and they were certainly scary. The cool breeze coming out of them felt good though.
