Re: misty...

I've never been to Bucegi, I was travelling across your country, hiking in Fagaras and Rodnei mtns. I still remember it when I was a child going with my family to Black Sea in Bulgaria, it was around 1988...so many have changed from that time in Romania... Believe me Andrea I haven't met more friendly people than those in your Carpathians anywhere, I stay charmed by that and when asked about that corner of Europe I say that is the best place to travel, people that usually have no idea besides some stupid stereotypes are very surprised. Let they only check it once, they will always want to return, I am more than sure.

Greetings

Ohh yes cuz some stupid things that we know both many people dont come here, but if they come will discover a beautiful country with many places that remain pure how was made it and yes people are friendly with foreigners. Im glad u liked so much my country and come back to climb Retezat mounts and Piatra Craiului or others more small but so nice, im sure u will enjoy enough ;).

Re: misty...

I don't care about height, it would be really funny stupid :) that's the whole big thing about what you look for. In Carpathians, in Moldova, in Romania last summer, among people on the train, on a mountain path, high there in hellish rain, on lonesome windy bivouac I just felt I am a bit closer to that than anywhere else. How not to want to come back ?:)
