On May 29, 2005 we were only able to ski upto crater lake, but earlier in the season you should be able to get a nice run all the way down close to hwy 50. (Milind packing out his Alpine ski gear, swearing he'll invest in lightweight randonee gear next year..) North ridge of Red Lake Peak visible in background. It should make for nice skiing too, but avoid the obvious corniced face that's ripe for avalanches.
