On the Hotu-Tau...

On the Hotu-Tau Plateau(3600m), which is on the South slope of West Elbrus. This Plateau was crossed by the German Alpine Brigade in 1942 , before they climbed to the top of Elbrus. Military equipement can still be find there. This photo was taken in September, 1994
