Initials for the french expression Grande Randonnée (or Gran Recorrido in spanish). Means a long distance path, and includes trails such as GR11 (covers the whole spanish Pyrenees, east to west), GR10 (the equivalent on the french Pyrenees) or GR65 (all along the Way to Santiago de Compostela). Please forgive the inconvenience, I though it was rather international but I was mistaken.
