On the summit of Kings Peak
Team UINTA on the 36th Annual Kings Peak Tour. Rob, Mike, ZeeJay, MOCKBA. 3/28/09

I guess by now we are all veterans of this traditional one-day ski run to Utah's highest point :) Thanks Barry for taking this shot, and congrats on your summit success!

I was thinking of using this picture for my own profile shot. I talked to Barry on the trip and he said he had turned around at Gunsight Pass the past 2 years, so I'm glad he made it this year. What a great trip!

It would look a tad silly for two people to have the same group shot for the profile ... although there is something cute about it too. If I share ownership then you should be able to select it for profile ... but a better option may be just to transfer it to you outright? I think you look great in this shot, with Mike also looking super - but Rob and myself are just so-so cool in it ;)

No, you take it. When I was thinking about it for myself, it occurred to me that you might use it and was pleasantly surprised that it was so. I think you look very relaxed in the picture.

ownership of this awesome photo ??

I can doctor the rocks up (a bit) to make them look red, and then it might pass for a peak in Arizona - being that everybody's wearing sunglasses anyway. : ))))))))))

Nice shot, guys and gal !!

Thanks, but then you'd have to "photoshop" an
oxygen bottle into the picture.

Perhaps you could add a cool butterfly ??

Hey, I really dig Dmitry's steel thermos!

Hey it's cool that you noticed, that's one kind of gear I collect. I used 3 of them on this trip (one at the car, another stashed at Elkhorn Xing, and the last one going to the top). Plus a stainless steel flask of cognac too ;)

Thanks! I've been lucky with the conditions so far (knock on wood), got it 12 times out of 12. There have been years on the oldtimers' memory when nobody got the summit because of blizzard conditions.
