On top of Pico del Teide on Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain)

This is a picture of my girlfriend and me on top of Pico del Teide, the country highpoint of Spain, located on Tenerife in the Canary Islands. We were supposed to hike all the way to the top, but due to weather, that wasn't possible. Instead we took the cable-car up to the viewpoint and climbed the last few hundred metres (fornutately the permit was stil valid!). Great views, in the picture you can see the Island of La Gomera in the backround.
