| West pillar - 03/10/2010 Much longer than its NW brother, the pillar goes along the ridge of Mala Ihla v Ostrve and Ihla v Ostrve (the second one we by-passed due to the lack of time), by finishing with an interesting west face of Zadna Ostrva. Nasty iced-covered rocks in the lower part of the route (the temperature was around 0 degrees C) made it a bit harder and time-consuming. However, the route in overall offers a big mixture of rocks, grass and - even - trees! Not very fancy... Views from the top of Zadna Ostrva to both Needls - beautiful! Pretty ending in setting sun. Nice and long climb, accompagned by Igi and Andrzej. North-west pillar - 15/09/2010 Interesting and quite short route done in windy and cold day. It offers much fun while climbing up and down several towers, shorter and higher ones (II/III). Route finding to the beginning of the pillar was quite complicated - we misled the couloirs which resulted in "bushing around". The descent by following red marks, down to Popradske Pleso. Climbed with Igi and Andrzej. | |

| I reached it in sunny autumn's day.Great coloures and views. 16.01.2011- the same route but in winter condition. The couloir to sedlo pod Ostervu was very icy and steep,we climbed it straight ahead directly to the pass without these f....curves,it gaved us much fun.Peak climbed by the way...unfortunatelly the weather changed on the top,very strong wind and many clouds;( Climbed with Natalia | ||

| By trail, winter and summer many times. by Dieska route VII- OS on the gallery - exciting, perfect rock, hard in comparison to another climbing routes with this grade in the area. Správny cas VIII - sport, 5pitches route, teaching friend a basements of mountain climbing, we've not lead it to the end. 20.01.13 - skialp S3- - unpleasant snow, but anyway amazing skiing down... | |
