This jacket has proven to be one of the best purchases I have made. It weighs next to nothing, but provides absolutely bomber protection from harsh elements.
I recently got to test this jacket out on a rescue mission on Mount Baker. I had to hitch a ride with a snowmobile three miles up to the Heliotrope ridge trail head in heavy sleeting rain, hiked up to the base of the hog's back in ever worsening conditions, and was exposed to 40+ mph winds in zero visibility with sideways stinging snow up higher around 6K and didn’t have to worry about a thing because the jacket had me completely protected from the elements.
I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone who wants great protection in a small package. This jacket may not have the features of it's bigger brother jackets, but that doesn’t make it any less fierce.
