That is what these books are often called. Together these three volumes cover all of the Washington Cascade range.
These are comprehensive guides, chock full of route descriptions, maps, pictures and geologic beta. I have been a Beckey fan since the early 70's the newer editions have been extremely helpful to anyone who climbs in the cascades of this great state.
This is the guidebook format that many others have tried to emulate and is still an amazing compilation by one of the most amazing climbers the USA has ever had. One thing, if Fred says it is two hours, figure on three or four. His rating system is a bit skewed since to him a class three climb or scramble may be a class 4 to me or even a class 5. If you want to climb in the Cascades, buy these books, they are worth every penny.

I will second what Dean says. These are the most detailed, comprehensive guide books I have ever encountered. I wish Oregon had a book this good for our Cascades. The only quibble I have, and it is a small one, is that some of the easier mountains are not given quite enough space. I suppose this is inevitable due to the sheer volume of mountains he covers. Despite this small reservaation, I still recommend these highly.

If ever I get back up to Washington State again I will have to get this book as a guide. There are so many peaks in the cascades that are worth adventuring.
