Product Description

(From the back cover)

The Titan, Mount McKinley's Cassin Ridge, Moose's Tooth, Lotus Flower Tower, Devil's Tower, Shiprock, Sentinel Rock, El Capitan -- these poetic names do more than describe rock; they make climbers' hands itch, longing to feel a rope in their grasp, to feel the rock under their palms.

Fifty Classic Climbs of North America, featuring more than 180 dramatic and instructive photographs, is the essential guide to the greatest climbing experiences on the continent. Here are the 50 best, selected by two renowned climbers, using the following criteria: a striking presentation from afar, significant climbing history, and, of course, excellent climbing. Vivid descriptions of the route, historical background, and accounts of ascents are enhanced by maps, specifications, photographs, and logistical information.

Cool Book
I check it out of my local library to get ideas for trips. It doesn't go into specifics but rather gives a good overview of the climbs.
