This light shell weighs in at just under a pound, but has the durability for light mountaineering, alpine climbing or skiing. best in class...
OR has beat every one by ounces and functionality in three levels of shell jackets...the desert weight, climbing weight and alpine weight. This is their climbing weight at less than a pound!!! Unbelievable how they got a Gore Tex jacket this light. OR jackets fit big. At 5'11", I wear smalls.

This is the best
I bought this jacket direct of OR and I absolutely love it! It has kept me dry without fail and the ventilation system works great as well. I've also found it to be quite windproof. Another bonus is how packable the jacket it. I just can't stop talking about how good it is...
