This air mattress has a layer of synthetic insulation that gives it three-season usage. It is mummy-shaped and comes in a regular and long length. It takes about 20 breaths or so to blow it up. It has a DWR (water-repellant) finish and an anti-fungal treatment inside. It rolls up easily to a small packed size and it comes with a stuff sack and repair kit.

I love my insul-mat max thermo air mattress! It is very comfy, much more so than a Therma-rest IMHO. And it's about the same size and weight as a Therma-rest Ultralight or Prolight so you really can't go wrong! I've used mine down to 20* or so and have been warm.

Update
Well, after about a year my insul-mat went flat and I couldn't find the leak so I took it back to REI and they refunded my money. I then bought a Big Agnes Insulated Air Core and so far it's doing fine...

Back Saver
I've had my insul-mat max for a full season now and I'm a believer. Spent about 20 nights on it and never had back pain in the morning (always did with my ridgerest). Slept on the snow twice in 5* temp with no problem. Weight is comparable to ridgrests and it's easier to pack. Oh yeah, it's great fun to inflate at 12,000ft!
