Robust and ready to take some force, the 8.5mm Kestrel Climbing Rope is designed for the more traditional style of climbing.The rope is Beta Shield treated, providing a high quality yarn protection coating, helping to keep dirt and other harmful substances off the rope yarns. At the same time, this treatment gives the Kestrel optimum wear characteristics on rough rock surfaces such as granite.
The rope is advantageous in that, it's light enough to not slow you down, but thick enough to ensure longevity.
