Voted 3/5 | Comfortable and easy to break in-- really no breaking in at all for me. Worked well hiking, scrambling, and climbing on up to low Class 5 terrain. Waterproofing not so great. The biggest problem, though, is durability. The boots are probably good enough for trail hiking, but the rugged stuff I did in just three weeks one summer was too much for the boots; the soles literally came apart from the rest of the boots, and this happened while I was on a long day outing in bad weather and dangerous terrain. Not a good experience, that. | | Posted Feb 13, 2010 4:17 pm |
