Product Description

The '06 Backpacker® Magazine Gear Guide says this bag ''...won't commit the cardinal sin of leaving you colder than its 0° F temp rating.''
Certified 600-fill-power goose down insulation is protected by a durable nylon shell with a water-repellent finish
Nautilus six-baffle hood envelops your head in warmth, while face muff allows hood to be cinched snug without chafing your face
Ground-level side seams keep warm air from escaping
No more midnight drawcord fumbling--smooth flat upper cord and hard, round lower cord make hood adjustments easy
Stretch tricot baffles provide strength and durability for a longer life to your bag
Trapezoidal footbox allows down to loft fully around your feet for optimum warmth and comfort
Heater Pocket in foot box allows you to use heat packets (sold separately) to prevent ''popsicle toes''
Stash pocket on the top chest near hood for night-time essentials
Draft tube backing full-length, snag-free zipper prevents cold air from seeping through; down-filled collar adds warmth
Includes stuff sack and large storage bag

I've heard from other owners that this bag isn't that warm after the down wears out. So far mine has been great. It kept me warm on Big Willy in the middle of winter, without having to put on the long johns.

My "Never Summer" has served me well winter camping in the Sierra Nevada. I like the stash pocket, the hood and the foot heater pocket. However, the supposed "snagless zipper guards" haven't always been the case. Still, a minor complaint about this nice cold weather bag.

Warm enough bag for winter. I like the down filled collar with feely draw cord and the stash pocket near the hood. Has also served me great in other seasons on colder nights.

This sleeping bag is great. It keeps me plenty warm on freezing cold nights, makes a great three-season bag. Definitely my bag of choice on cold nights. Great for the price.

I've had this sleeping bag for 3 years now and it is still has worm as when I bought it. I used it a few times in close to 0 degree nights and only wore a t-shirt and socks. Great sleeping bag!
