General Comments

After wearing out three Silva Expedition compasses, I fancied trying something else and so picked up a Recta DO 595 Global System Compass. At first I used it just like any other compass and wondered was it worth the extra expense. However that was until I started to use the additional features. The declination scale is very useful and once set you can forget it. The clinometer was a feature which always added interest to the day. The only qualms I have with the compass is like my compasses of old, after 4 years it has now got a huge air bubble in it which in my opinion affects the performance and so once again I am after a replacement. If anyone knows how to prevent air bubbles, let me know.
