Using an aluminum and titanium mix allows for a very light weight pair of poles. Features on this Ultralite Ti model include a comfortable positive angle grip, a soft antishock system, a carbide flextip that can bend up to 30 degrees and a newly improved locking system called ELS or easy lock system. Performance baskets are included.

Voted 5/5 | A great pair of poles. The light weight helps after a long day. They are narrow but strong because of the titanium construction. The angled grips and the extended grip padding on the upper shaft is a great feature when I need to 'choke up' on the pole in steep terrain. | | Posted Dec 5, 2004 12:41 pm | | Alpinist | Great poles
Voted 5/5 | These are awesome trekking poles. They are very well constructed. I love the grips. They are extremely comfortable without gloves, and angled perfectly. The extended grip is awesome for choking up quickly when hiking in and out of gullies. I have placed all of my weight on the poles stepping off of boulders while wearing a 60lb pack and they have never failed. The locking system is easy to use and locks down securely. The shocks are a real life saver on the knees when descending! | | Posted Mar 28, 2005 7:08 pm | | tommi | Untitled Review
Voted 5/5 | Great Poles, the grip is fantastic. After using them for a few years in summer and winter they are not longer locking well, time to replace some parts. | | Posted Aug 17, 2007 3:50 am |
