The Attache is a smaller screwgate locking carabiner that is designed to be used in anchor systems, belay stances and tie-ins.

This biner uses Petzl's patented Keylock gate closer that prevents the biner from haning up on ropes or webbing on protection and anchors.

There is also a red security ring in the locking mechanism that allows you to glance at the biner and confirm that the screwgate is closed.

The pear shape of the biner makes it easy to use with an Italian (Munter) hitch on a single rope.

This biner was given to me as a gift and I had no idea what to use it for since I already had my favorites.

I eventually found that it works great on a daisy chain for clipping into belay stances and anchors. The small makes it easy to use on complex anchor systems but is still easy to handle. The keylock system prevents hang-ups on webbing and ropes.

This locker is a little big for the mountains. What I found it's perfect for is a Gri-Gri. It fits perfectly through the Gri-Gri hole. In fact, this biner stays with my Gri-Gri all the time.

This carabiner works greast fro setting anchors and ok for belaying, however I have other choices for belaying.

The triangular shape makes equalizing more visually accurate and easier.

Good biner
I have one of these by my side always. it is small and lightweight. Usually I use it to clip in to the belay station with a clove hitch or sling. It is always good as a backup locker!
