I bought this pack because I love my smaller Mountainsmith Chimera and wanted a pack for longer trips. It has a 5,000 cubic inch capacity and weighs 5 pounds, 11 oz. It fits torsos 15" to 19". It features top load access, separate sleeping bag compartment with U-Shaped zippered access, top lid converts into lumbar pack, top hood pocket with map stash, interior hydration reservoir pocket with dual exit ports, side and bottom compression straps, and side mesh bottle pockets

It is constructed of 420d Velocity and 840d Ballistic fabric with an airmesh suspension lining. It has a torso shield HDPE framesheet with twin 6061 T6 Aluminum stays. Its torso length is fully adjustable and the waistbelt is fixed dual density foam. The shoulder straps are s-curve foam.
