This is a totally awesome...
pad!!! Cannot beat the thickness for the money. Compared to other pads this size, the protection is much better becasue of the thickness. Like that it can fold half way to make a couch and like the carpet to wipe of rock shoes when it is a little muddy out while bouldering. By far the best crash pad out there!

Totally awesome...
While i agree with Dan about most of the aspects of the pad, it is definitely not the best one out there. The pad is very stiff upon purchase and needs to be broken in before trusted to prevent injury. Be careful especially on the edges of the pad as you can easily roll an ankle on a newer MadPad. This is one of the best pads if you are looking to save money, and the fact that you can lock 2 or 4 or 6 etc MadPads together is a really neat feature if you bring all your friends. But like I said, break it in before you trust it for big falls, and lock 2 or more together for the best size to thickness ratio.

Great Deal
Can't beat this pad for the price. Big enough and easy enough to carry. It is a bit stiff at first. Also has a nice little mat for cleaning off your shoes.
