Nice addition to gear. It takes up very little space and weighs next to nothing too. It fits well under other hats and MHW power stretch always does a good job at insulating. A must have for those alpine climbs.

Great fro climbing when the climb is physically verydemanding and it is cold.

It breaths well and fits under the helmet reall y well.

I like the fact that you can pull the face part down and have it under the chin.

Have used this a couple of times on serious cold weather climbs. Once the moisture in the breath freezes the material loses its stretch. After drying and washing the material has stretched out and does not return to its original snug fit, after only a couple uses. So it tends to hang loose and not against the nose and chin as you want a good balaclava to do, though it did serve to block wind. Recommended for "cool" weather activities, e.g., XC-Ski, shoeing, for people with small heads, but it won't do for extreme high altitude weather protection.

Sorry, I created a new product listing under "powerstretch" (one word), and I do not have the power to delete it.

Indispensible Item
This goes with me on every trip. The best warmth for weight item in my alpine wardrobe. It keeps snow and ice off the neck and has kept it's stretch for me after many years of use. I love this balaclava!
