What's in the book?

This pocket guide cover the hiking areas of Croatia,
from the Dinaric Alps along the coast
to a number of other areas further inland,
as well as some of the country's Adriatic islands.

It covers walks on the mainland
(Zagreb, Gorski Kotar, Velebit, Mosar, Kozjak, Biokovo, Peljesac) and on some of the islands
(Brac, Cres and Losinj).

Routes range from easy day-trips to multi-day treks
across jagged mountain chains.

All the walks are graded in difficulty.
Some involve scrambling.

This is not climbing guide - there are other books
to look for it, nor it does cover all the popular hikes
in the country.

Interesting enough,
before the section detailing the walks does begin,
there are almost 60 pages of history
and general information - almost 30 percent
of the entire book.
