Ozzy Boulder

Ozzy Boulder

The plethora of easy south-facing routes and a large sandy clearing in the trees makes The Ozzy Boulder an optimum on warm-up spot winter mornings. This horizontal crack runs almost continuously around three sides of the boulder, and connects Cheese is Good (v2) with Scrutinizer (v4) around the right end of the face. (January 24 2007)

endurance problem

My new endurance work out for the last couple of weeks has been to get pumped out after a couple of hours and then try to climb up Nebuchadnezzar (v3, behind Ozzy and to the right of the Hollywood Bowl), then connect it to the Ozzy traverse all the way around to and then up the slopey arete (v2?) just to the left of Scrutinizer without getting so pumped that I fall off the mantle at the top out. ...I'm a fan of the long, sketchy route linkups.
