| My wife and I hit Papoose after Chief. This was our third peak for the weekend. We had fun navigating through sugar snow up to the summit. | ||

| I've been up Chief at least a dozen times but had never made the short bushwhack over to Papoose. Did it today in about 20 minutes roundtrip (from the saddle on the Chief Mtn. Trail). Worth it for the view of Chief from the summit and the solitude. Heavy graupel on the descent. | ||

| Papoose is definitely the nicest of the three in my opinion. Trees, but more seclusion feel to it. | ||

| Not much of a summit but a logical place to visit if you're combining Chief & Squaw... gotta keep the family complete. | ||

| Needed a nice, quiet day that wouldn't "kill" the husband. Trips up Warrior and Papoose met the need. Nice powder from the saddle up to the Papoose summit. | ||

| 5/2/10: Took the trail up Chief than traversed over Papoose to Squaw and back down the Squaw Mtn Road to my car. Also climbed a few of the other easy access peaks off the Squaw Pass Road, lots of peaks available for little effort on this road! 12/8/12: Repeat with Chief and Squaw. Also climbed PT 11060 and Warrior. | ||

| I turn 50 this year and I have set a goal of summiting 50 named peaks this year that I haven't hiked before, and Papoose was the first of the year. Thanks to the people who snowshoed up previously to mark the trail and make it so I wasn't postholing through the deep snow. | ||
